The email from the ticket office to season ticket holders said if the capacity restrictions are increased during the season then additional tickets will be made available.

100% capacity if we take the poison injection goop at the doctor's office and wear HAZMAT. Free beer if we turn in our Bibles, handguns and rifles.

Edwards is a big LSU baseball fan and a baseball fan in general. The idea that he wants less people at games is really dumb and divisive.

He will likely continue to follow cdc guidelines on attendance. The covid infection rate is rapidly declining and we will almost certainly see increased attendance at games as time goes on and the infection rates drop any lower.

Let’s be real here. Outside of a couple big SEC series and postseason games, the box is typically at 25% capacity anyway.

SEC doesn't set anything. (why do people still think this?)

Capacity is set by the school based on CDC and state health official guidelines.

Edwards went to West Point, became an army ranger and commanded a rifle company. He is pro second amendment.

You guys can bash him for him following the cdc guidelines on covid, reasonable minds can differ over the precautions we need to take.

The guns and bible stuff is BS. I bet more than half the guys on here trashing Edwards were never in the military, never learned to handle a weapon like an army ranger and are ignorant of the fact that Edwards is pro second amendment and very likely attends church more than they do.

Considering you’re legally required to be over 65 to go to a college baseball game everyone going should be vaccinated soon. So capacity should be 100% soon.

He is pro-life as well.

Pro 2nd amendment and being a pro-life catholic are what aided him in winning as a democrat in Louisiana.

If you’re pro-life there’s no way you can be a Democrat. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. F*** JBE!!

why do you think JBE cares how many get to go to games? limited capacity has no effect on if he can go or not.

He might enjoy baseball and LSU but don't think he is above using it as a political chip. He has done so in the past.

He also isn't going to lift shite based on any guidelines other than his liberal state health department. This is about power and when has any politician willing given up power?

Look, I'm not turning this into a political debate, so you can believe what you want to believe; but this is a pretty ignorant comment.

I'm by no means defending dems, as I am a conservative myself, but it was a female democrat state representative that authored and passed Louisiana's last major pro-life bill to limit abortion, which was just struck down by the SC this past year. A law which JBE publicly supported and wanted the SC to uphold.
