I mean if it is completely iced down then shut it down but if its passible then keep it open but hope people are smart enough to to be out there if it isnt needed.

You can’t know for sure there isn’t ice on the roads. What if our models that suggest the melting point for ice are wrong? If it would save just one life, we cannot allow anyone to drive
Until we visually inspect every inch of road for ice we should just shut it down in perpetuity.

I got off work at 6:30am this morning from a 12.5 hr shift. Was told I could work til 10am like that would make a diff in weather? What am I to do? Sleep in th parking lot? I’m going to head back to sleep and probably won’t be going in tonight. 12-15mph top speed on roads and interstate is closed. Took me 1hr to drive a 20min drive.
If we let the Gov dictate everything? Then might as well kill off everyone and just get robots to control. How about the government step up their game and salt the damn roads? Not like they DIDNT know it’s get freezing weather. Weather radar knew this a wk ago!
