People keep dealing in too many absolutes.
The trials didn’t test transmission, so they couldn’t definitively say you couldn’t still spread it. But now studies are coming out that show significantly reduced viral load after one shot. Hopefully as more is learned they will keep reducing recommended restrictions on those who are vaccinated.
But honestly as far as I’m concerned, those who are two weeks in from the second shot can do as they please. Not that I make the rules

Good. Now they need to lay down metrics for opening shite back up completely when certain percentages of the population have been vaccinated. Let’s see if they do that so politicians can’t hide behind test numbers anymore. Get me in a packed tiger stadium in September please

Everyone knew this shite from the beginning. They didn’t announce it until now for political reasons.
Why would a person with the vaccine need to change their lifestyle? Do we do that with the flu?

We have been on pace to be at this point. We knew vaccines were coming. Trump said it was going to be before the election, but as far back as what? September? We knew a vaccine was coming. Its been out for what? About 2 months.. So this is just a matter of time, has nothing to do with what party is in the white house.
I know what I say will not matter and you people will believe all the crazy shite you want, but most people from both sides of the fence have nothing to gain from this pandemic. While I am sure you have some wild belief as to why the left has something to gain only to hurt the right (because everything that happens is to hurt the right.... right?)..
With that said, why does everyone get butt hurt when the CDC changes or updates information? Things change the more you learn about something, but there isn't one thing that they could post that you would agree with. Just because you already have it in your mind what you think of the CDC.. And I bet a big part of that is because Trump would contradict the CDC.. So.. Being a Trumpist.. Whatever he has said in the past is what you believe.

With his history I didn't think it would convert into being the leader of the free world.
In the 1980s he pretty much single handedly brought down the USFL because he wanted to be president of the league and he couldn't get his way.
He filed for bankruptcy several times, each time leaving contractors high and dry.
He claimed his daddy loaned him $1M and he built his wealth from there, which was total bullshite. When his dad died he pretty much took over what his dad built. Yes, he made some real estate moves of his own (from money his dad loaned him), but his goal early on was to build a brand around the name Trump.
And because he did so, he had to live up to a certain image to keep the value of that brand up.
There was Trump University. That was one huge scam.
He wrote a book "The art of the deal" and was on a reality show... And people thought he was the ultimate deal making business man.
Its just funny to me that someone born and raised in New York, from a wealthy family has convinced a bunch of people from the south that he has the same values and views as them...

Nope. One is my niece in Lafayette, 16 years old, had it in March of 2020 and got it again in Jan 2021.
The other is a vendor I use in construction. Now he may be full of shite but he claims he had it early last year and last week got it again.
