Depends on the manufacturer of the irons. I think Taylor made is about 8-9 weeks and mizuno is 4-6. But each manufacturer has different lead times.

I wanted to give everyone an update so things are as transparent as possible. I spoke to the Mizuno Area Rep (some of you know him but i will leave his name out of it) a couple times the last 12 or so hours. I know there’s been a lot of speculation on what was happening and rightfully so but, imo the mizuno rep has nothing to do with what happened or what’s been happening. He has spoken to both parties and we had a lengthy call this morning and he said he got down to the “bottom” of what happened. I will just give the facts of the convo and you can decide for yourself what you want to believe. I left the conversation with the mizuno rep feeling good and he seems to be a standup guy.

This has been an interesting story to follow. I know a club pro that got busted for all kinds of illegal activity / various kick backs, I imagine it happens a ton in this kind of industry.

You could always ask to speak to the area reps boss just to confirm he isn't feeding you some BS.

I do not know Buddha but sounds like he may be purchasing clubs off places like eBay

Might be why he said it would take 4-6 weeks. He needed time for a set of pulled heads to show up on eBay. Also might be why he asked for payment via PayPal or Venmo

I've been fitted by Buddah 3 different times. Driver & 3 wood, wedges, and irons. All three interactions have been professional. All three times I have wound up improving my game with the clubs he recommended. Nothing felt shady or non professional. Twice he has talked me out of more expensive (popular brand name heads) so that I could get a brand name head with the correct shaft. I will be back there in 2 weeks to get refit for a driver. It's been 4 years, technology has improved. I have also sent 3 different friends that have all raved about their experience . I hope that your situation works out. I am looking forward to getting fitted again in a couple of week. And if anyone bails on their fitting between now and early March please speak up. I would like to get in there sooner rather than later.

Seems the less expensive heads just happen to be ones he can get from his "friends" on the black market and make more profit on and in fact may not be the best for you.

Mine took 3-4 weeks to come in. They came directly to my house from Mizuno.

To be clear, I choose the Mizuno's. The 2 brands that I hit the best were Mizuno's and Srixon. The Mizuno's allowed me to upgrade the shaft at no up charge . I have referred two friends to him for fittings. One found that he hit Titleist the best and that's what he bought. The other, found that he hit Ping's the best and that's what he has.
As mentioned earlier, he has fitted me for a Driver-3 wood combo, wedges and irons. Not one time did he push me towards any particular brand.
