Just get a minivan. Same thing but cheaper and more useful.

Really depends on what you consider large.

We have a Lincoln Aviator, and we don’t have any complaints.

Lexus GX460

I am on my 2nd GX460 and they are fantastic vehicles. It is an upscale version of the Toyota Landcruiser Predo. I got the first coming off a lease and drove it too 250K miles. I would have it still if I hadn’t hit a 18 wheeler tire on the highway. The 2nd I have now was the local dealers loaner car. So if you get one three years old you it basically cuts the cost in half and can pay for it outright.

The new Tahoes are pretty awesome. I think the rig with the diesel is a great vehicle.

But they are "new" and there is a serious supply constraint, so their prices are going to be atrocious for a while

yeah, i cringe a little every time i see one on the road because i know someone paid sticker price for this thing, which is really dumb

Really like the GX we have. Only con I have is the inability to change out the radio to an aftermarket in-dash reciever from Crutchfield/Bestbuy with all the the modern features. That is much easier to do in GM trucks/suvs. As far as reliability it is great.

Another GX vote. I love mine. Picked up a 2017 off lease with less than 30k miles on it for 33k from carmax. Its definitely outdated, slow and getting shitty mpg, but it’s bulletproof, a solid off-roader and quite comfortable.

Because they literally just came out This time next year you'll be able to buy them $10k off sticker just like before. Same thing is happening with the new F150. It'll normalize soon enough.

$10K off an $80,000 sticker still isn't great.

the interiors of the chevy are horrible. they'd be wise to invest some money in re working the appearance of all the dash and interface. it all just looks old and dated

the yukons aren't much better either

The reviews for these trucks unanimously praise their interiors.

Show me where these interiors or horrible:

Tahoe/Suburban

Yukon/Denali

Escalade

I can see complaining about the stratospheric pricing or the lack of availability given the high demand for the full sized GM SUVs, but they command 60% market share for a reason. They knocked these out of the park.

It's a good price. It would be the whole package if it had an updated infotainment screen.

The 4Runner even has more features now.

But the 4Runner and GX are both significantly smaller than the Tahoe or Suburban. Very different trucks.

I would stick with a Range Rover.

But if I was forced to choose from your list I would go with the Lexus.

We got a 2018 GX460 back in November. It only had 15000 miles on it. It was a lease that someone barely drove. It has the luxury package and came with all of the perks of a Lexus CPO. Practically got a new vehicle. I'd highly recommend.

It can give a max of over 10” of clearance - more than the 4Runner or Land Cruiser.

The LX570 has the bags....but when they eventually break, you’re looking at $4k to change the accumulators. If I think of the number of times I’d need an extra couple inches of clearance, it quickly becomes a cool party trick and not a need.

Had both (still have the GX) and liked both for different reasons. 4Runner actually had better leather and better looking exterior. Also liked infotainment/display layout of the 4Runner better. Like the V8 and 4WD of the GX. I actually like the swing rear gate.

I use my auto height control all the time. Mostly when I’m towing boats. I can jack it up and drain the boat. Or put down the trailer wheel and lower the vehicle. Also will lower it at atms or if an old person needs to get onboard.

no joke, two of the hottest large SUVs on the market, Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade

These aren’t large or an SUV. They’re midsize cars with with a hump on the back. None of those could drive through a mud puddle.

All wheel drive Denali is the answer.
