I think that’s the mystery of the whole thing. Yes there’s a lot of money sloshing around the system. And yes there’s been a disproportionate number of penny stocks that have run recently.
But statistically his performance has been multiple standard deviation’s above What even those characteristics would suggest. He has cracked some kind of code.
So I may disagree on the long-term fundamentals and some of this but he flat out one of the war in terms of investment returns... I have to tip my hat to that.

Today I just passed $100K of gains from Ancient Tiger picks. He has an uncanny ability to pick out the top tier small cap stocks. That being said, I do think most of his long term price targets ($30 for ZOM, $200 for TSNP, etc). are probably not going to come to fruition for most of his picks. Even if those targets did get hit, you’d be better off (before paying the tax man at least) to take the massive short to medium term gains and reinvest then into the next up and coming TSNP type play.

Word? Not a fan of 400 baggers in the span of a few years?

TSNP went from 17 cents to $1.70 in like a month or two. Going from $1.7 today to $200 several years from now is still a much lower annualized rate of return than TSNP has recently been on. I just don’t see them in the same league as PayPal or Square several years from now which is what it would take to get to $200.

At $200/share, the company would be worth over 1 trillion. I can’t see that happening within a year or 2. But I’m still in for the ride and awaiting ATs next pick

Yeah no. Priced yesterday - they had a shelf out there to be able to pull down on a snap. They see this as cheap money. Disclosure: I was in to 2.28 and have enjoyed the run
Have you actually done an offering? Serious question, not trying to be a smartarse. I have had direct involvement in both private and public offerings, and just the documentation phase takes for-friggin'-ever. I don't see this as something they threw together overnight. Now they may have wanted to adjust the pricing on the fly last week, but there is a turnaround time from the agencies that have to review and sign off on all this, and it is anything but instant.

The company could do a share buyback in the future. I'm not suggesting they would by back 50% of their shares.
AT has been doing this a long time and loves to win.
He sees something.
These are penny stocks, so there is more risk. With more risk, if you hit the right one there is more reward.
These stocks are going up so fast, it is difficult to know which ones have risen too high to get in right now.

Wainwright has underwritten their last three offerings, at a minimum.
This didn’t take much longer than filling in a couple of blanks, in all likelihood.

Been involved in hundreds.

Sure, they absolutely can, particularly PIPEs or S-1 based filings... but pulling down off a Shelf S3? A lot of folks prep for the offerings when the establish the shelf (or at least the main language construct). This shelf was filed in 2019. It can be an intense few days for sure. Establishing ATM arrangements with the Maxim's of the world are becoming more common nowadays to make it that much more instantaneous.
Recent examples were Hertz who even though they were going bankrupt through an offering out there on a complete whim. AMC did it last week.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think Zoom work up Thursday - called Wainwright and started to work out an offering... that shite was papered in principal for awhile - waiting for the time and price drop in.

Fair enough in that I shouldn't have said a snap, but these can turn damn fast.

Depends on the stock. I think CRYBF will get over a dollar but not sure how much over. Only advice I can give is don’t be afraid to take profits, especially if trading in a retirement account.

Thinking about going In on my first “big” single buy(1k) into one stock Probably crybf
Posted on 2/9/21 at 6:13 am to Masterag
Ok crybf tanked overnight. What’s up with that?
Posted on 2/9/21 at 6:14 am to Masterag
Someone school me on penny stocks. Why does CRYBF have a N/A next to the price in my watch list and show a -.57 change in the pre market
Posted on 2/9/21 at 6:16 am to MorningWood
OTC stocks don't trade premarket. Numbers are bogus until market opens.

I don’t believe that’s accurate.

Crybf shows a value of 0.00 on TD. Thought it was some Premarket thing, but apparently it’s a glitch?
Posted on 2/9/21 at 6:22 am to GeneralLee
In this spot I like to sell half, bag the money, then keep the other half in case it does blow up.
Take the profits, pay yourself, but still keep some for the upside.

I’ve been looking for you in all of these threads! Lol.
The man who brilliantly called the fraud of LVVV. Look forward to your insight into some of these.
