there is absolutely no reason why we can't take advantage of the exact same thing they are doing especially with TOPS scholarships.

This is the kind of stuff Austin Thomas needs to be becoming an expert on

you know, LSU athletic department already employs multiple experts on rules. It's called the Compliance Dept. which is funded by athletics but has a reporting chain outside the AD and athletics.

However, one would think these experts could at least cooperate with athletics and inform them of areas that are perfectly legal but at the same time advantageous instead of taking an adversarial posture.

Just saying.

But I agree, Orgeron needs "a guy for that"... and his name isn't Bo or Miriam.

Yes, there is. This is like saying there is no reason I can’t run as fast as Usain Bolt. We can’t take advantage of these rules, like Bama does, because we can’t convince 27 top flight HS players to come to LSU every year.

You guys are dying to figure out how to increase LSU’s capacity while ignoring that we don’t reach the current capacity.
