Polished off a bottle of Blade and Bow with a buddy last night and put down three Perdomos in the process.

20th Anniversary Maduro
Double Aged 12 Year Maduro
Lot 23 Maduro

All three were excellent. That Nick Perdomo knows a thing or two about making quality cigars.

Probably my favorite cigar. I have some Reservas that I’ve been waiting to smoke, been in the humidor for 2+ years. Smoking a Don Pepin Garcia Blue right now with a tumbler full of Elijah Craig on the rocks. Great cigar for the money.

Saturday’s smoke was an Espinosa Crema that I really enjoyed, will buy again. Today was a Macanudo. Makers Old Fashions with both.

I always keep a handful in the humidor. They’re what I call a breakfast cigar. Great in the mornings with some coffee.

Anyone have any issues with Alec Bradley lately? I had a Post Embargo and Presnado blow up on me yesterday. Both canoed really badly and came apart at the end.

Does Macanudo still make their Hyde Park?

That’s what I smoke on occasion for something lighter in the mornings.

That’s how you pass a good time. What is it though? I can’t tell from the band.

That’s a great deal. Appreciate the heads up!

ETA:

Looks like it’s $75 now. Not that much a deal at $7.50 per stick.

Hmm, still showing up as $20 for me.
Did you have a Thompson Cigar account already? Maybe it's for new customers only?

I'll try to buy a second box today and see if the price changes.

ETA: My old man bought one today, was $20.88 including tax.

It looks like that was the issue. I already had an account so I didn’t qualify.

My wife now has an exciting account with Thompson Cigar

Finally picked a few of these up from a local store. Going to see what the hype is about this evening. The wrapper looks really good.

Report back on that one if you have some time. I’ve been interested in whether or not it lives up to the hype as well.

A buddy dropped off a Padilla Cazadores to prove me wrong about certain budget smokes and man, he was right. Very interesting flavor profile with coffee and cinnamon.

My Father Flor de Las Antillas and some Barrell Bourbon. While smoking a chuck roast and some pork ribs over pecan.

I signed up for an account and it's still $75. What did I do wrong?

This is kind of sad, but I don’t even look any more. I just trust Privada and their what they mail me in the “farm rolled” subscription.
Just checked. It’s a Paul Stulac.
