re: The sky is falling because O said he would be more involved in the defense.

No fricking chance an up and coming DC risks letting O have his fingerprints on the defense
how do you know he told Freeman or Nielson that he was going to be involved? They both accepted the job. Logic is he has decided to be more involved bc we don't have a proven DC and had we hired Freeman or Nielson he wouldn't get involved

Ed Orgeron says he's "going to be more involved with the defense" under Daronte Jones than he was with Bo Pelini. Says he told every guy he interviewed that was the plan.

That’s just plain wrong dude.

He's just going back to helping with the D line.

The real question is, if they are successful on defense, will the same tards melting give him credit/props? I bet no.

People really should listen to what he said.
I was A bit concerned reading the headline but what he actually said isn’t that

I’ll throw this out there: fricking awful metaphor.
Nazi were lacking an open mind and didn’t fail to take in nuances about the Jews.
reading comprehension is a wonderful thing. The period at the end of the sentence denotes a new thought. I made a metaphor and then I made a further judgement of Boxer Briefs as a poster.
He criticizes O like the Nazis criticizes the Jews meaning he has no interest in anything other than tearing O down and making him enemy number 1 like the Nazis had no interest in anything but tearing down Jews and making them enemy number 1. To the Nazis, everything was the Jews fault because they had a predetermined hatred for them. Pandoras Box has a similar issue with O. He never liked him so anything bad or even neutral must be spun to further the narrative that its O's fault.
Then I went on to say that his criticism isn't a fair assessment of reality. He ignores or bends the truth to paint situations in a light that proves his point.

Like O objectively fricked up at Ole Miss, and sure people change
But that’s not applicable to Jews under Nazi Occupation.
Sure it does. Do you think the German people that carried out the awful acts during WWII didn't change afterward?

Well you people cry wolf constantly so don't blame others when your concerns get pushed aside as hater nonsense. You all spent all of 2017 and 2018 bitching about O and 2019 was magical.
If you really want people to listen to you, don't act like everything is always the worst.
Tiger Lunatic is a great example of a fair criticizer of O. When he deems it necessary, he criticizes but he also relents and gives props when its due or at least acknowledges nuances and circumstances that affect situations.
Sure, we'd all love to have a Saban like coach that seems to make the best move at every turn but guess what? there is only one of those guys.
My overall point is that there is no reason to bitch and moan over everything O says and does because it won't change a damn thing. Just cheer for the tigers and try to see the good in things. In the fall it will all play itself out. If we are good then all this bitching and moaning will have been for naught. If we suck then the bitching will be about reality and not the preconceived biases of posters that never liked O to begin with. Also if we suck then O gets fired and we get a new coach.
Being optimistic seems like a win win to me. You get to be happy in the present and either way, you can still be hopeful for the future. Either we play well and Yay for that or we don't and we can all be hopeful the new coach is better.

So Chicken should just shut this place down until the fall, because nothing that merits discussion and potential criticism can be happening outside of the season?

They need to just follow a different team!! So much negativity.

And the top 2 guys accepted the job anyway so obviously they weren't as concerned as the ones who say it prevented us from getting them

Incorrect. Criticism is fair. I’ve said that before, even noted that IMO Tiger Lunatic has a really good feel for how to criticize but not be blind.
While I knowingly take up for O more than I should, it’s due to some on here (you being one of the worst) blaming everything on O and constant bleeding out of your vaginas about the apocalypse that we all know is not coming.
What I believe we shouldn’t do is spend the 8 month offseason thinking of every possible bad thing that might happen. That doesn’t mean you don’t have a right to do just that. I’m just saying you act like a teenage girl talking about the boy that dumped her and posters like me are gonna push back.
Which begs the question: how is it fun to follow a team that you hate everything about? You hate the HC, his coordinators, and his position coaches outside of Raymond probably.

I just scanned 10 pages of your post history and the only 2 people you say nice things about are Jordy Collotta and Donald Trump. If you weren't a blind hater, I figured I'd find at least one positive post in regards to LSU but alas, there were none.
I thought you were just an angry prick on the rant but apparently you're an angry prick on multiple boards.
