CDC and WhiteHouse clarify mask rules on the morning news shows

As heard on the radio this morning on the way to work. CDC and WH held a pressed to clarify their new mask mandate.
- You don’t have to wear a mask when in your privately owned automobile but you can if you wish.
- You may TEMPORARILY remove your mask when eating or drinking.
- Masks must be worn at all times on all public or private transportation. But drivers of those systems may choose to remove the mask if no riders are in the vehicle.
Does the government really think these are points to be clarified? What was the plan? To drag people from their cars and arrest them for not having a mask on their face? Maybe we can start setting up Mask Checkpoints?

Shouldn't the government provide pandemic guidance? I'm not a fan of Biden, but don't see a problem with new administration stating a position on mask policy, even though it essentially mirrors Trump's.

Nope. That was in the same presser. The WH has pledged to move forward without the R’s and shove their $1 TRILLION plus plan through. They did have a bi-partisan meeting though so they can claimed they tried to talk. The funny thing about this time is I can’t find a single list of what is in this bill. Last time it got killed when all of the bullshite spending was exposed. I think the plan is to keep this one hush hush until after it is voted in. Kinda like they did with the AHA.
