This thread is gold. Nick Jones is a great twitter follow. Google SWU if you don't know what it is. This is a big deal.

So many positive indicators of parabolic move. Structural shortage - massive long term demand increases from utilities - sprout with a ton of cash and not even on nyse yet. And I haven’t said anything about Russia or Ukraine yet.

I have not seen any good news about Standard Uranium. They are in the explorer category of Uranium companies and so far as I can tell have not found any hits with their drilling over the last 6-12 months.

They might increase in value because the whole Uranium market is so small (and they have the name Uranium on their company logo) but I think their results are disappointing so far.

Agree. I like Standard Uranium and their team. The management team is experienced and seems to say all of the right things, but they're an explorer. If they hit then they have massive upside. If they don't then they still may see some gains due to the overall market sentiment, but there's more sure bets out there.

It depends on your risk appetite. I have about 40K shares. Been holding since last year. I was disappointed in their last drill reports, but I knew what I was getting into and have done well on all other uranium investments so i'm willing to stick it out for awhile to see what happens.

Looks like enough votes came through and Sprott has finally taken over URNM. Even with the market having a rough day, I'm surprised the equities are down with the U spot bid being up to $63. Sput looking great though and it's hard not to be bulled up right now with the tailwinds we're seeing

Same. Added today around $80/share. I'm the same way though; I keep telling myself I'm done but opportunities continue to present themselves

Uranium is definitely a better play than silver. Silver has been essentially dead money, while uranium has done well, what with the global situation.

Nice continuation run in URA from yesterday through today. May get called out of my 28 strike covered calls tomorrow. It’s still climbing in AH trading. I’ll most likely slide in tomorrow morning with some far dated short puts at a lower strike.

Interesting perspective.

If green energy isn't able to supply the electrical grid, nuclear will definitely make a resurgence. Will bookmark these quotes and few more of Uranium producers.

How we feeling? Better have some conviction to be in this trade baby! One of these days I'll take my own advice and have some more cash for these kinds of dips... but until then just holding the line. Still bullish over here

Those expired. But finally got called out at 28 last week after selling more covered calls. Interesting to see the ETF drop so much after I got exercised. Now back in with more short puts at 24.5 on some ladder trades. Will short more puts on any further weakness. Would like to wind up with a core position average in the low 20s.

My thesis is really basic: longer term demand for uranium (especially in light of geopolitical concerns about fossil fuel supply and price stability) should grow. And this should (longer term) support pricing power in the uranium sector… assuming nuclear comes back into favor (which it should!!!).

I'm not sure if I would just be talking to myself but I was thinking about trying to revisit the range of companies in the Uranium space to solicit discussion.

Is this worthwhile? There may not be enough of us interested to have a real conversation and I already mostly know what I think.

I’m only in the space through the ETF I mentioned. So I’d like to hear thoughts from others.

I hope we do. I will start doing some opinion posts on the market and categories of investment options. I hope to receive feedback and critiques from other posters because I consider myself only moderately informed.
