State bar of Georgia asks Lin Wood to undergo mental evaluation to keep his law license.

Reality is that Lin probably needs it
But professional licensing to enforce ideology is going to be a battle ground.
If Lin violated professionalism rules, and I highly suspect it's not too hard to make that argument, discipline him. I think mental illness and professional licensing is a legit topic but disbarring people for mental illness can usually be avoided by taking action based on action (rather than underlying illness).

Ga state Bar should have a mental evaluation from an independent source themselves. But this a way of acting like they know the truth and Wood doesn't. Protecting their own criminal actions.

This is an outrageous abuse of power. Lawyers have been the vanguard of constitutional protections for centuries. Requiring some yahoo with a social science degree to determine whether an attorney with an impeccable professional reputation is mentally fit to continue practice is chilling and straight out the Soviet playbook.
