With the schedule being released tomorrow, this is my best guess:

Sept 4 at UCLA
Sept 11 McNeese State
Sept 18 Central Michigan
Sept 25 at Mississippi State
Oct 2 Florida
Oct 9 ULM
Oct 16 at Kentucky
Oct 23 Auburn
Bye
Nov 6 at Alabama
Nov 13 Arkansas
Nov 20 at Ole Miss
Nov 27 Texas A&M

I like the schedule. At Kentucky can be dangerous tho. Don’t sleep walk into that game.

Challenges:
[1] We have relatively unknown, unproven coordinators. This is significant because of the HC's lack of X-O's knowledge.
[2] We have a relatively young team.

Advantages:
[1] We return back a lot of the team that showed heart at the back end of the season.
[2] The business decision folks are gone. So kids who are excited to play for LSU are the ones here.

Analysis:
Sept 4 at UCLA: Toss Up (First game with new OC/DC like last year. Chip Kelly is a better coach than his UCLA record will suggest. The time zone difference might also cause some problems)

Sept 11 McNeese State: W

Sept 18 Central Michigan: W

Sept 25 at Mississippi State: W (Hope we do not get Leached again)

Oct 2 Florida: Toss Up (Florida replaces a lot of players and will be in a rebuild)

Oct 9 ULM: W

Oct 16 at Kentucky: Toss Up ( We have always had problems playing there. The last time we played in Kentucky is 2007 and we all know that game.)

Oct 23 Auburn: Toss Up (Auburn has a new coach and they have not won in Tiger Stadium in over two decades)

Bye

Nov 6 at Alabama: L (Duh!)

Nov 13 Arkansas: W

Nov 20 at Ole Miss Toss Up ( Lane Kiffin will score points so it will be a shoot out. It all depends on who has the ball last)

Nov 27 Texas A&M Toss Up ( They will be in a rebuild, but they have better program leadership and not so coordinator dependent. They will be good)

5 sure wins. 1 sure loss. The rest are tossups. For arguments let us say we go 3-3 in those.

8-4 + bowl game. We will play a lower division bowl if we go 8-4 and an easier opponent.

So I would say 9-4.

Conclusion:
All things considered, not so bad, considering how bad 2020 started.

Think they try to squeeze Texas into it?

I see 9-3 (at worst) with a 4-0 start.

Please drop a C-note on McNeese. Their administration is rotten top to bottom.

Have a good feeling going into this year. Backs against the wall. 11-1 with a playoff birth is my prediction.
