AND no Super Bowl appearance to show for it.
Has a team ever won 49 games in 4 seasons without winning their conference?

2002-2005 Colts won 48 games with no Super Bowl appearance.
2011-2014 Packers won 46 games with no Super Bowl.
2001-2004 Packers won 44 with no Super Bowl.
1995-1998 49ers won 48 with no Super Bowl.
1990-1994 49ers won 48 with no Super Bowl.
2004-2007 Chargers won 46 with no Super Bowl.
2006-2009 Chargers won 46 with no Super Bowl.
The Bills won 49 games, went to 4 straight Super Bowls and lost 4 straight Super Bowls.
This isn’t everyone; just some I found.
A bunch of teams, even the Bengals, have won between 40 and 45 games with no Super Bowl appearances.

No need to search, it’s the most wins in 4 seasons without a Super Bowl appearance

So the answer to his question is NO
No other team has done it. Just the Saints

To be fair, 2018 was a trip to the Super Bowl locked up. And the combination of the Refs stealing it from us and us completely collapsing with the game on the line kept it from happening. But, the team was definitely good enough to do it. And, basically DID do it. So, there's that.

i mean, the PI in 4th quarter was already insane. esp with the way it was responded.
The hit to the helmet on brees AND DPI for holding mike thomas in OT was when I knew things were straight fishy.

Is Sean the best regular season coach in NFL history?

Sounds like a team with a choke QB

I’d rather go win 49 games with no conference championship than lose 4 straight Superbowls.

Drew missed the tackle in Minnesota?

What a waste of a comment.

Hell, I’d be willing to suffer through some losing seasons just to have one more SuperBowl win in the Drew Brees era.
Oh!
I forgot.
We did that too!

It's tough.
Some of the worst luck in big playoff games went the wrong way for the Saints. (if you can swallow calling the no-call luck)
At the same time, I don't think the 2017, 2019, or 2020 teams were legitimately Super Bowl caliber teams.
Somehow this coaching staff has been able to mask critical team flaws during the regular season to win the division.
Something they havent figured out yet is that the refs call the game differently in the playoffs. Our WRs have been mugged and held, but there was no adjustment on either side of the ball.

Sounds like coaching issues to me.
And a lot of excuses.
Bottom line is multiple blown opportunities.
