One of the most confusing things to me is unions supporting democrats. Democrats always want regulation that will shutdown blue collar jobs but those dummies keep voting for them

The maintenance department at the company I work for is all union. We have plumbers/pipe fitters, electricians, painters, and laborers. I’d say 97% of us voted trump. The suit and ties in the offices sold us out. It was not the will of the workers.

Union members voted overwhelmingly for Trump no matter who their shitbag representatives endorsed.

Who voted for these guys?

If union members were so adamantly pro-Trump, they'd vote for union reps who promised to endorse Trump and vote down anyone who had previously endorsed Dems.

They're trying to buildup that green market to get rich. They figured it out after Al Gore.

I'd say it's the same with your oil and gas people. The front line workers are squarely in Trump's corner, but from the management level up, it's heavy Democrat.

I've a very good friend who works in oil and gas and was pro-Biden. Needless to say, he's "very surprised" Biden has taken the anti-fossil fuel position he has. I point out that Biden was always anti-fossil fuels, touted it during the primary season and only walked it back with outright lies in the general.

He's concerned now because the executives at his company have already introduced their strategic plan to navigate the assault on their industry and he said it involves consolidation of roles at his level down.

I feel bad for him but I also want to tell him he should've thought long and hard about the impacts of a President* Biden on his job.

Our mill is union but we supported Trump by a large majority including leadership.

What Biden did was shite on domestic oil producers and American workers. Overseas will boom and oil prices will go back up to $80 to $100 bbl.

This is what I laugh about (not a funny laugh, a sad laugh). Liberals know what the liberal leaders are going to do to their jobs and still vote for it.

this is what is so interesting about Louisiana....when oil prices reach these levels, LA prospers. LA has struggled for years due to the lower prices of oil.

If my career is tied to this.....i would think about voting dem. may not do it, but i would not be as adamant about the Trump Train as i have been.

If they believe Green Market will replace their $100,000 a year jobs ....Good luck.

Wind Farms are not going to replace thousands. The wind farm construction firms already exist. Wind cannot be used nationwide. The places with wind ...produce during off peak load hours.

Solar farms? So these idiots want to knock down natures own filter system, trees and plant growth, for something that works only eight hours a day, and all out of peak load conditions?

unless of course union elections are rigged

but that could never happen because unions have never been mobbed up or anything like that

Democrats & organized crime both have their hands in unions.

This isn’t hard to figure out.

Nobody supported Democrats in the 2020 election. The whole thing was rigged. Repubs won in overwhelming numbers across the board.

Unless your friend loses his job, he will defend voting for Biden. I have some liberal friends in certain circles, but none in O&G. Your friend needs a reality check.
