Dumb choice for the meat head linebacker to stay. Go get ya money dude.

I think he’s a douche but he’s a hell of a footballer and that nfl linebacker lifespan isn’t that great nowadays

But I was told the amount of players LSU lost last year is what every team goes through.

So is Clemson and Newspring tied at the hip? I remember Perry Noble from back in the day. I thought he got ousted as pastor. Is the church like the Clemson Defensive line, next preacher up, without missing a beat?

They’r defense is made up of younger players and full on Hardos so this isn’t surprising

LSU won and had much better players.

Dabo has that program absolutely rolling. I wonder what's their qb situation going to look like now with with Sunshine headed to the league.

I think Dabo wins 2 more rings with Clemson when it's all said and done.

Dabo and Noble were tight, but I believe most folks up there associated with the football program sided with the church. Noble had alcohol issues and later went through a divorce, so they forced him out. He started a new church, but it isn't affiliated with Clemson.

Doesnt really matter when you're always 1 play away from Venables kids starting. This has to piss Clemson fans off. His kids have no business playing for that elite of a program.

At some point they’ll have to improve their basic arse offensive scheme. In 5 playoffs games with the future #1 pick, they scored more than 30 once. And that was only because Higgins and Ross made circus catches all night

This is absolutely true and something Clemson fans have been clamoring for for a while. Elliott is a nice guy and will likely be a better HC than OC, but the dude’s offense is vanilla as hell. We need new blood and creativity on the offensive staff bad. Venables picks a creative school, meets with their staff, and incorporates new concepts every offseason. Elliott doesn’t do shite.

And I think the D will be good but this won’t be 2018 dominant as the secondary is still eh. The front seven will be awesome, though.

We'll have to see how they adjust to not knowing the plays.

It’s amazing to me how they don’t lose staff members. I get that Venables has a good gig and I’m not saying they should have turnover like Bama has, but it’s remarkable that they don’t have more attrition on that staff. Credit to Dabo for building that culture.

like someone else mentioned, I wanna see how the defense is now that the sign stealing thing is out. Cause they got fricking wrecked once it came out.

And I say that, but apparently it was pretty well known in the ACC. Still think you see people messing with Clemson some with fake signals and stuff that cost them a game or two next year.

It will be interesting to see our starting lineup on defense against UGA. Players like Turner, Skalski, and Spector are all intelligent players and very good against ACC opponents, but I believe they're at an athletic disadvantage against offenses with 5-star talent. The talent level on defense has increased after two consecutive top 5 classes. I won't be surprised if players like Turner and Spector, lose their starting roles to the younger but more athletic players. I believe the Ohio State game has opened Dabo's eyes to this.

I'm afraid you're right. He's a great kid with an inspiring story.

He'll do fine in the ACC, but his lack of elite speed and athleticism will be a liability. against UGA or any playoff team.
