Great flour tortillas. A friend told me they do a 24 hour lime juice and spice brine soak before hitting the flames. Breaks down the tissue like a ceviche or some such. Yummy stuff

Whatever they do to tenderize their steak is unmatched. I typically avoid steak fajitas because its usually grade D meat and chewy or you have to spend more a shite load on good meat (i.e. El Tiempo). But Lupe's regular steak fajitas are unbelievable.

Ninfa's on San Felipe. In the heart of the Galleria area.

Only one original Ninfa's. It's on Navigation. Highly recommend it.

Pappasito's

Pappa-anything is shite chain food. all recommendations that include Pappasito's should be stricken from the record. hot garbage, houston and texas have A LOT BETTER to offer than that frozen fried shite.

Ninfas is good, sure. but you need to try el tiempo if you're a fajita fan.

and this would be waaaay out of your way, but La Cocina Roberto's is the absolute best bang for your buck authentic mexican i've had in my 13 years in Houston. It's in the Woodlands and they just opened a 2nd location on I45.

Hugo's is the bomb.
Also UB Preserv across the street.
Christie's near the Galleria has good seafood.
Fertitta just opened up the new King Ranch restaurant down the street, it wasn't shabby

Thank you for all the suggestions. I love fajitas so I guess I will give Lupe a try tonight and if I still have the craving I guess Ninfa's tomorrow.
Stexas, Thanks for your prayers. I just checked in to my hotel so I will go exploring a bit later.

That's obviously the original, but the restaurant is literally called The Original Ninfa's... The one near the Galleria is just the Uptown location.

Thanks, I know I am in good hands, I have been fighting this shite for almost 5 years and if I had not gone to MDA, I would not be here today. My local docs said I was inoperable and had about 2 years left. That was in April of 2016. MDA said they could operate and did so successfully. Without that, I would have succumbed to cancer long before now. As it stands now I am in very good shape with the few metastatic tumors being very small and currently inactive. I am here for my 3 month scans and check up.
