Need some restaurant recs in Houston

I’m staying over near the galleria and looking for a recommendation for good Mexican food in this area of Houston.
I’m here till Friday for drs appointments at MD Anderson.

There's an original Ninfa's over there. Not the little one in the mall, but the one by Whole Foods.

If you're looking for Tex-Mex or are looking for something more reasonably priced, The Original Ninfa's (not Ninfa's Mexican Cafe), Pappasito's, or Lupe Tortilla are solid.
Caracol and Hugo's are good choices but are a little more expensive.

Great flour tortillas. A friend told me they do a 24 hour lime juice and spice brine soak before hitting the flames. Breaks down the tissue like a ceviche or some such. Yummy stuff

For steak I personally think Taste of Texas or BB are better.
