And so it begins! If you're overweight, you can't buy sweets.

Newsmax Report:

Dems will follow China’s lead on Fedcoin! China Will Soon Be Cashless.

The United States has no choice but to follow China.

Congressional banking subcommittees in both the house and the senate met earlier this year again to discuss America's new digital currency, the Fedcoin.
The Federal Reserve announced that the central bank is partnering with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology researchers to build and test a digital currency.

When America launches its Digital Currency, it's going to be a disaster for your privacy and your wealth.

FedCoin, Like The Digital Yuan, Will Give The Government A Godlike Ability To Track EVERY SINGLE Transaction.

They will know every one of your purchases and how you choose to spend your money.

Physical cash gives you anonymity when you transact with dollar bills. Only you and the other party know about it.

With the Fedcoin, all transactions will be recorded in a centralized government database.

Everything you do will leave a permanent record for the feds to monitor and track.

Fedcoin can be programmed so that certain transactions can't take place. For example, If you're overweight, you can't buy sweets. If you have a felony conviction, you can't purchase a gun or ammunition.

Fedcoin will be programmed to prevent individuals access to anything the government deems inappropriate for them.

If you don't obey the government, your federal reserve digital account can be depleted by the click of a mouse until you conform to government whim.

Fedcoin is being embraced by progressives to make all Americans have just one “universal basic income.”

Most overweight people would probably think that is a good thing. Its not that fat people don't want to lose weight, its that they don't have the self control to do so. The temptation is a real and often beyond their control and this would be a great way to curb that temptation and give them some control over their issues. Perhaps it could also be set up to include denying them the ability to purchase fast food and soft drinks.

Yes and praise be the government for designing such a curbing concept. Get real. How about personal accountability whatever happened to that? Worked for me and everyone else who really wanted it.

Yep! In the article too:

If your savings are heavily in dollars and paper assets like the stock market, consider this a huge warning. On the flip side, there is one asset that stands to gain abundantly: physical gold.

If you don't own gold, now is the time. There is an IRS loophole that lets you invest your retirement savings in gold tax and penalty-free.

Many fat people want it but just don't have the will power to overcome their issues. This would take it out their hands and most, if not all, would greatly appreciate that it was. Maybe not at the time of the temptation but certainly after they have gotton down to a reasonable weight and ponder how they were able to get there.

bullshite, if they couldn't buy little debbies and snickers bars with their food stamps, you would already see riots everyday at your local grocery store. They would get up off that electric wheelchair shopping cart and throw fits, throw all of their shopped items and create chaos. Then they would shuffle out to their Cadillac SUV in the handicapped parking space, giving the world double birds and calling everybody motherfrickers and bitches. Nobody would say a word, because it's expected and accepted.

look at that picture, there is nothing healthy or attractive about that. She would most definitely benefit from such a currency and most likely be thankful for it as would her family, friends and even strangers who would need to be near her for whatever reasons.

I would think this is good news for bitcoin but really don't know. I'm interested to hear from someone who knows more than I do.

Yale Law Center: Fedcoin Will Make Bitcoin Obsolete

As talk continues to intensify about the Federal Reserve introducing its own e-currency, what would happen to Bitcoin under such circumstances?

Three academics at Yale University, Sahil Gupta, Patrick Lauppe and Shreyas Ravishankar put out a paper in 2017, Fedcoin: A Blockchain-Backed Central Bank Cryptocurrency, where they attempt to answer that question.

This is their conclusion:

Our digital money, locked up in private ledgers and exchanged through dozens of heterogenous databases en route from creditor to debtor, lacks the speed, stability, scalability, and security of a good cryptocurrency. A successful Fedcoin would make bank notes, credit card companies, and Bitcoin obsolete, while transforming the nation’s medium for money.

As I have previously written, a Federal Reserve created digital coin could be one of the most dangerous steps ever taken by a government agency. It would put in the hands of the government the potential to create a digital currency with the ability to track all transactions in an economy---and prohibit transactions for any reason.

This is even more reason to end the Fed.
