Como’n man ! He had to have permission to even interview. Lumas can do that, but no way he would without talking to SP. A lot has happened to the Saints in the last 48 hrs. They last their Asst. HC & DB coaches to Detroit. Lumas right hand is the new GM in Atlanta. His DC is interviewing in Philly. Think SP put up the stop sign to keep some continuity. That’s business. Move on & find the guy that fits.

Man this board is insane. Have been cracking up reading this melt all afternoon. People in here think that Sean Payton really thinks about LSU and hates them. He’s worried about keeping his staff together knowing some guys are moving on. It isn’t some conspiracy to frick over LSU. He thinks highly of Nielsen and doesn’t want to lose him.
