Besides Pelini what hire was an embarrassment?
Linehan wasn't great, but our offense wasn't the problem last year and we lost our starting QB in week 2.
And most people on here and in the country thought Pelini was a "high floor" type of hire and we'd be solid on defense. shite, Orgeron performed verbal fellatio on Pelini in the preseason media sessions.
Head coach picks his assistants and the AD signs off on them. Only a few Ponamsky moles have said Woodward was in control of any of these hires.
They got Freeman to say yes and then he bolted, I don't really blame them for that either.

People don't want to hear this, but Pelini was a great coach. The key word being WAS. It should have been a good hire, but he was apparently burned out and mailed it in.
LSU obviously didn't do its due diligence.
