Biden readies sweeping rollback of Trump-era abortion crackdown

Abortion rights opponents are concerned about the new administration and warn that they will continue to push back.
"It's certainly disheartening, but we aren't going to give up, and we will do whatever we can to stop abortion from being promoted," said Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee, who said she expects a wave of abortion restrictions at the state level this year.

Honestly, good. Abortion got settled 40 years ago and the fact that republicans decided they wanted to continually fight and lose this battle over every other issue shows how fricking stupid and useless they are. If you dont like abortion then dont get one, you religious people need to chill the frick out. If Republicans had done anything to stop the mass immigration that destroyed once red states like Virginia and Georgia we wouldnt be in this mess. Abortion is a huge reason why Republicans have done so bad with women the last 10 years.

I'm a religious person who doesn't approve of (convenience) abortion, but I agree with you. I also don't vote based on it, either. It is a losing battle.

No, I will not “chill out” about the murder of the unborn. Just because our Godless government and people want to murder the innocent doesn’t mean I should stand by and let it happen

If they really wanted to do something about it then they could have passed a ban on late term abortion like the evil shite that was proposed in New York and Virginia. Instead retards like Brian Kemp wanted to go after the whole thing and collectively pissed off a huge segment of the population. The stupid heartbeat bill in Georgia is a big reason why Dem voter turnout was so high even without any fraud that may or may not have happened.

Abortion is the hill worth dying on in the culture war.
Abortion as birth control is a barbaric practice. We should be in the business of truth telling, and that's the truth.
If we can't convince people that acknowledging truths and centering policy around those truths are the way to go - then what are we even doing here?

As a young, poor, disadvantaged woman of color Mary would be doomed to a life of poverty and lost chances at bettering herself. Abortion can save her from that doom.
