Unless they’re just offering more money or he just wants to move on I don’t know why he would take it.

Assuming Saban will retire in a year or two. Golding making a move is sensible.

Sark will be at UT for a decade.

No one stays with Saban when they have other options. It's like a colon cleanse. It's gross, but sometimes you just have to do it for your future.

There’s a long line of coordinators (Doug Nussmeier being a great example) that Saban hasn’t been happy with that “find other jobs” instead of being fired. That said, time for Tennessee to wrap up that investigation and fire Pruitt so that he can come home

But literally nothing indicates saban wants him gone.

Why would he? Alabama's defense was very good this year. I think people just saw the Ole Miss game and assumed their defense sucked.

Nothing ever does, hardly anything leaks out from inside the program. They run a tighter ship than anybody.

Probably sabans and anyone who has eyes. And lol at you using total yards. Maybe you should look at scoring defense

There is reasonable criticism for Golding but I will say they really improved throughout the year this season. It’s clear IMO that the lack of a proper off-season impacted all defenses throughout college football this year.

Defenses were clearly behind the ball the majority of this year from all the games I watched

Total yards? Seriously?

The numbers for 2019 were probably singlehandedly affected by the LSU game. Same for 2020 and the Florida game.

Taken from another thread. It illustrates a trend that’s clear to people who follow Alabama closely.

lol. Another use of stats to tell lies. If you look at actual useful stats it tells that Golding made improvements from last year.

Eta: or, you know, just actually watch the games.

He’s been DC or Co-Dc on Alabama’s 3 worst defenses this decade.

Idk if this is some slam dunk. Especially when you remove Alabama’s never ending list of high end players s

No one knows if Golding is good or bad as a DC more than Sark. You really think Sark would go after him if he sucked?

I don't believe Saban wants Golding gone, and if he leaves it will be to escape the Saban meat grinder.
