The NHL announced that it will stop using pucks with imbedded tracking technology for the foreseeable future due to complaints about their performance during the start of the 2021 season.
The change is effective beginning with Tuesday night's games.
The NHL reviewed the first supply of tracking pucks that it has been using and determined that they did not receive "the same precise finishing treatments during the offseason manufacturing process as were used during the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs."

No they don’t. They need to keep piling up L so they can trade McDavid to Montreal for a 3rd, a 5th, and a washed up German defenseman who is in the minors

So Edmonton scored the PP Goal off a hooking that was done by a fellow Oiler.

Kuz, Orlov and Samsonov are the other three players. Apparently they were hanging out together in the hotel room. What a time to be alive.
Speaking of Russian players, Kaprizov is sure fun to watch. Refreshing to see that skill as a Wild fan on that team finally.

That is awesome to see the Blue Jackets, Canadiens, and Canucks on NBCSN on the same night. I wish that happened more often.

You can sit next to one another on a bench but heaven forbid you guys hang out in a room together! What a joke.

Capitals fined $100,000 and lose players to the protocol for four games. Ovechkin and Kuznetzov are two of the four players that are being put into protocol.

Tough to win when your #1 C plays 3 minutes in the 1st, and doesn't go any more.
This is coming to a head sooner than later. Hopefully we get some value.

It seems Montreal has bought into 2:1 tandem in goal for the year. I think it’s a good thing. Keeps you sharp and the workload being condensed keeps you fresh for the playoffs
Who am I kidding the Habs won’t make the playoffs and I’ll be mad af about it.

FFS why is that being called onnEdmundson?

Nate Schmidt turning the puck over in his end and having it lead to an opposing goal. Yeah, I saw enough of that when he was with VGK.

That kill looked disjointed at the end. Let’s see if the Peewee PP can do anything now.
Between the Habs PP being as effective as Gregg Williams blitz and Jake Allen thinking he is Ron Hextall just decline any penalty tonight.

That was a sick goal... batting the puck out of the air.

Goal again
Evans I think
Make that the 6th goal. Armia I believe.
Ok here comes a challenge and the wheels fall of the bus
Julien looks like he is up past his bed time.
