Watching Justin Fields last night and throughout his career, he’s not very good.

He locks onto his first receiver and if that guy isn’t schemed open by Day, his head usually drops. No play better symbolized this than when Fields didn’t even recognize we were down a player on a crucial third down. He again just tried to rifle a pass to his first read.

Honestly, it’s no wonder he looked completely lost in a more pro style scheme in his freshman year at UGA. The guy is basically sophomore year Jalen Hurts with a bigger arm.

Everyone will say Mac Jones just had a better supporting cast and I would draft Fields over Jones on potential. But right now, Mac Jones is a better QB.

So is he Jalen Hurts with a better arm or is he not very good?

I think he's not great, not terrible. He, Lawrence and Mac have benefited from loaded teams. I think if Fields got into a good organization he'd be ok, but he won't have a career if the Jets take him.

I agree. I wouldn't draft him with a top pick

He hit some great deep shots in the Clemson game. I thought even on some tough medium length sideline routes, he did well in the games I saw. Do you think he will have a better career than Tua? I do.

Keeping it within Ohio State QB's to get drafted in the first round, I think Haskins was a much better passer than Fields and we see how well that went, though Fields likely has a stronger arm. Fields is so athletically gifted that it covers up much of this inability as a passer.

I think he’s really good at improvising and throwing on the run, which makes him hard to defend for most college defenses.

Whether that translates to the NFL depends on him he goes to a team that will utilize his skillset correctly.

He's good but has flaws. I don't think him or Lawrence will be great QBs.

He's another haskins. Looks good against the Big ten. He couldn't make it in the SEC, that's why he transferred

So the MSB thinks both Fields and Trevor Lawrence. Well who exactly is good?

I think one of the most difficult things for NFL scouts to evaluate is QBs from those top-5 programs. Their entire offense has advantages at every position for 80% of the games they play. Then they get to the NFL and it's a completely different game.

I have no idea if Fields or Mac Jones will be good in the NFL. Most of it will come down to the organization that drafts them and how patient they are with development.

I don’t think he’s terrible but I’d be wary of drafting him really high.
