Is Sark the best offensive mind in college football today?

I would have to say yes because somehow he designs plays that confuse defenses and creates mismatches that opposing defenses have no clue how to defend. I know a lot of people will say Kiffin, but Sark's performance against an all-SEC schedule, along dominating performances over ND and OSU, has been remarkable.

No and it’s not even close Stark was loaded with talent and able to exploit watch Bill O’Brien next year will be the next hot coach

So would you put Brady in that same discussion since he basically did the same thing last year.

No but those back to back to back #1 recruiting classes he had to work with were the most talent any team could have. Coordinators (DC or OC) who work at Alabama get hyped because they are working with extraordinary talent and then they flop after they become head coaches because they don't have the same talent. Only those who can recruit well themselves can keep their head above the water.

The fact is that Alabama’s stars came back this year for a shot at a title while most other teams were decimated by opt outs and weekly sit outs.
The defenses weren’t close to full strength this year and Alabama’s senior team took advantage.
The SEC this year was MAC level and the MAC was SWAC.

It's a lot easier with blue chips all over the board. The cupboard is bare at Texas. Let's see how his offense checks out next season.

I think Sark is elite.
But that offensive line would make Les Miles look like a good OC.

Some of the misdirection stuff he comes up with is so, so good. Sark finally broke away from trying to call plays like Norm Chow in 2004 and has flourished. I know he had better players than anyone but when guys are as wide open as Najee Harris was on his TD catch last night, that is because of scheme.

Check bank in 10 months when Teaxas is barley bowl eligible. Its easy to look good when your roster guarantee's you at least 11 wins a year. He will be exposed as average like hes always been.

Because he did do well in USC and Atlanta!!! He had a team loaded, in Alabama, with talent compared to everyone else that had departures and opt-outs and quitters. He will be back to blah in Texas next year with out all that talent.

And it wasnt that long ago that people were saying he was terrible at play calling. Solely based on the game vs Clem and Falcons tenure.

Kiffen did finish better than Sark in total offensive rankings with less talent and a tougher schedule. Sark didn't have to play Bama
