Suburban Atlantan via south Louisiana here. I thought you’d be interested to hear this. I planned a trip to just outside of DC this past weekend to visit an ill friend.
I flew to BWI Thursday. The Atlanta airport was slammed especially considering covid. In the 45 minute zig-zag security line I heard numerous people talking about how this was their “first campaign” and blah blah. One was wearing her Ivy League sweatshirt. When I got on the plane a group of people around me were talking about how they came here and they did it. They knocked, they called, they “saved the world” [direct quote]. People came to Georgia from all over the country to work this race.
The democrats outworked the shite out of the Republicans on this race. The republicans thought they would win by doing nothing other than airing ads 24/7 saying “save our freedom from the radical left.”
Bottom line is 1. Kelly was a bad candidate and 2. She would have won without a runoff if Doug Collins, career politician was here first so he felt like being a senator was his birthright, didn’t run thereby saving a republican majority.
I’d also like to add that, as a libertarian, I’m probably waaay more socially liberal than most of you and almost definitely waaay more fiscally conservative than most of you.
Make no mistake I voted for trump twice. But you guys who are in the religion of trump need to examine yourself. This board has quickly turned from a conservative political board into a satire board.
The left has been deranged for years and it grows worse by the day. It pains be to see the right to trade objectivity for this trump religion.
What should be learned from this georgia runoff is that they outworked us. They outworked the shite out of us.
Inb4 cheated, yadayada, dominion, etc.
They outworked us.

Doesn't realize the election was rigged.

Collins would have beaten Warnock.

It isn’t a Trump religion. The alternate is so far removed from anything resembling what we think America should be, that we always take Trumps side because there is no alternative. We don’t agree with everything he does, but one disagreement isn’t going to make us support the side that hates us. Why is that hard to figure out?

You realize the Collins was in the race with leoffler and warnock and didn’t make the run off right?
He took just enough votes to force a runoff causing us to lose the majority.

Despite your subjectivity, this sounds like a paradox.

Loeffler basically thought that she'd like to buy a Senate seat and so she did. And to keep it, she thought if she dressed like a lesbian trucker for a month while slapping on an accent and accusing Democrats of communist conspiracy, that'd be good enough. Both Loeffler and Perdue were REALLY close to winning outright in November, but in addition to getting outworked, Donald screwed them. Both of them were initially on the record as saying that they would reject the $1200 stimulus plan.
Then Trump came up with the $2000 plan, and forced them to flipflop within a week. At that point, I'd imagine a lot of Georgians couldn't trust them very much.

I’m not supporting nor suggesting anyone else support the left. But a lot of the conspiracy theory shite here reads like the reverse babylon bee but it’s not satire and it is shite people post and believe

Look at the polls and tell me I’m wrong.
Posted on 1/11/21 at 12:19 am to BPTiger
you are saying that she was a bad candidate
I agree.
The party fricked up and backed the wrong horse. I blame them, not Collins.

Everyone has a right to believe what they want. I can ignore it. I was able myself to see the information and come to conclusion different from there conclusion but I don’t want them shut down. Nor do I want the twitter and Reddit crazies shut down who are just as crazy just on the opposite end of the spectrum. That’s how America works. You have the right to say wild and crazy things. It’s a slippery slope when people start deciding what is “hate speech”. It never gets used equally.

Trump supported Loeffler
See above and tell me who wins if Collins doesn’t run.
She wins a frickin landslide if he doesn’t run. They were the only 2 (R) with name recognition.

Perhaps. But when you cheat the deck is stacked in your favor.
-No dead people voted in the runoff?
-No duplicate D votes were counted?
-No out of state voters cast votes?
-No illegals voted?
-There was no software trickery?
-Nobody substituted/altered jump drives?
-There were no manufactured ballots?
-Nobody scanned ballots multiple times?
-Nobody discarded any R ballots?
-Nobody harvested any D ballots?
-R heavy communities had the same number of drop boxes from Zuckerberg?
Oh they outworked us for sure. They worked their arse off getting and manufacturing illegal votes.

None of that matters. I assure you they would have found enough votes either way so that both democrats won
This was not a real election

That’s the most predictable response. With almost zero proof. We going our asses whipped because we got outworked. That’s what happened.

Fraud. that is what happened! fraud. Candidates and ads don't overcome vote count manipulation.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
The proverbial pendulum and such.
The Left has been lurching so far left off the map that they ended up on the moon. It only makes sense that, now that the Right is actually pissed off, they'd make a lurch to the Right.
IMO, however, they're not pushing far enough back to the right. Still too worried about trying to draw leftards back across the line.

Loeffler would have won approx 66/33 had that count Collins not stepped in to take what he thought was his. There was no way Georgia was going blue so it didn’t matter.
Well guess what happened. He fricked it up and it mattered.
