Never was a Fournette fan. Always felt he was overrated.

That perspective is unfortunately common to the casual LSU fan.

He destroyed, juked, and outran defenders with power, agility, and speed like we've NEVER seen in the Purple and Gold.
He was teed off on by some of the best defenses in the SEC because we were one dimensional, and was rarely healthy after his freshman year.
Enough of my opinion...

Listen to the first 20 seconds of this video. Listen to what the announcer says about long time LSU fans coming to him, some with 56 years in Tiger Stadium. They had NEVER seen anything like Leonard Fournette.

Watching Tampa Bay now... It sure looks like Fournette is wearing an LSU jersey under his Tampa Bay gear.

...and hell yes. I’m a Fournette fan. Geaux Tigers.

Yes I am. He’ll always be a Tiger great. Unlike most losers on this board I don’t hate all ex-Tigers. Fam

If he stays with Jags, he would have had his 3rd 1,000 yard season with the only one short of that an 8 game season due to injury.

Remember when he quit on his team last game of junior season.

He’s one of the founding fathers of this opting out bullshite

This is maybe the biggest lie told on this website.

Orgeron made the (correct) decision to not have his injured running back who was about to be a top 5 pick play in a bowl game.

quote:

"To be honest, it really wasn't my decision," Fournette told NFL Now Live. "My coach brought me into the office. He told me 'You have a lot on the line.' He didn't want me to play. I cried like a baby. It was hard for me. That was my first time not really traveling with the team and I couldn't play in a game with my brothers. I'm going to miss them."

Later in the interview, Fournette reiterated the point, saying "my coach made (the decision) for me."

Once they leave LSU , I hope they do well and all but the whole NFLSU thing is way overplayed. Yea we put dudes in the nfl left and right but it’s way too much to keep up with each guy. I’m a fan of LSU. Not the individual players. Not the SEC. just LSU.

Dude that article needs to be put at the top of this board for everyone who cast judgement on Fournette’s career at LSU. That man damn near had to play 1 v 11 every Saturday and didn’t complain or flinch

NFL bust.

No. He averages 100 yards and 1+ TD per game in the playoffs in his NFL career. He's had multiple seasons over 1000 yards and was the 5th best RB in the league last year

93 yards on 19 carries and a TD in an NFL playoff game.
Pretty good day’s work.
Always reps LSU.
