I haven’t used Cydia since high school and have no interest in jail breaking my phone, and I honestly never bothered to find a method outside of the App Store and jail breaking to install software onto an iPhone

While technically correct, you completely ignore the fact the vast majority of social media is consumed via mobile device.
Mobile devices controlled by two companies. Both who are in lockstep politically. Along with the two other major cloud hosting services. Which puts any company who they deem "unworthy" at a massive competitive disadvantage.

Android is pretty much open source. Granted google doesn't have to support it per se, they can't really stop it.

Basically, what needs to happen now is for a new company to create mobile devices and its own search engine to allow conservatives a place to access their own news sources and social media sites.

And your response completely ignores Apple. Which has no option to install apps outside of their store. Which is contemplating banning Parler.

Did you read headline? No, Microsoft and Apple and all phone providers are going to make sure you can’t have it. This cannot happen. Over 90% (if not more) of cloud services are controlled by Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. They all think in lockstep.
Mobile apps are controlled by two companies, Apple and Google. They think in lockstep.
It's a cartel system the likes of which would have made Standard Oil proponents choke.
