This is really disturbing.

They are undermining parler for political reasons. It’s a shame but they are trying to silence anyone that doesn’t have a progressive stance.

Of course this automatically devolved into a right vs left thing. Don’t worry about the real implications of this, as long as we can bash the other side

This will lead to collusion charges and anti trust laws being enforced.

Stupid fricking leftists: durr create your own Twitter if you don't like it.

Parler is created and then censored by our internet overlords.

Stupid fricking leftists: durr create your own Google if you don't like it.

These people are irredeemable.

Cool... let the right wing conspiracy nuts have a groovy time and tell each other how awesome they are, which of course they will believe.

Parler is the primary Twitter competitor.

Just because they provide the same service, they were hardly a competitor. Check the numbers.

And these companies can do whatever they want. Its not illegal to remove apps. Social media isn't free speech, it just allows people to post material. As a company they have a right to decide what material they allow.

Like I said earlier.. Before social media, was everyone's freedom of speech being censored because they didn't have a platform to instantly spread their message to a lot more people?

What happened on Wednesday was planned on Parler. 4chan is still up.. It is known for all the crazy shite that is posted on there.. But it didn't promote storming the Capitol and breaking into it to disrupt approving election results.

Trump has continued to say the election was rigged, without any evidence, there is audio of him trying to get Georgia's SOS to "find votes". He has loyal followers who will do anything he says and look at the shite storm that happened. It was embarrassing. And wanting to storm the Capitol in order to disrupt part of the election process in order to try to fight for your candidate to be put in office is a terrorist act.

Thats shite that happens in fricked up middle east countries.

I can't believe this is even real life.

Won't even let us have an alternative social media platform.

Thr general consensus from Twitter, FB, Google, and Apple is that they are trying to punish all the conservative individuals for inciting the riot in the capital.

I know there was a protest planned in DC obviously, but was the actual storming inside the capital apart of the plan beforehand? Or was it something that just happened once enough folks got rowdy enough. Were there people actively using parler to plan on rioting and attacking the nation's capital? That is what Google and Apple are acting like. I'm not on parler, so I can't give an answer to how the site has been used.

I keep saying that Trump incited the riot, when from what I have seen that is not true. He incited his supporters to come to DC to gather and protest, but I didn't see anything where he actually incited his crowd to get violent. On the other hand, some would argue that Trump secretly approved of the riot. Did Trump secretly plant some guys on the inside to help get his crowd pumped up to wreck shite? Possibly, that would be a fun conspiracy hole to jump into, but obviously there is zero substantial to hold that up.

The moral of the story is that inciting a protest/gathering is different than inciting a protest/gathering that happened to turn into a riot.

So you are going to sue Twitter because of the actions of Google? And you wonder why Trump went after the votes of the stupidest among our population, here is your answer.
