I find that a bit hard to believe that he would. I think it's more likely there must've been something that he didn't like about LSU rather than he simply didn't pick us to "stay in the north" or to "be closer to family". This is quite disturbing.

ND is still a huge draw for coaches.

The guy has never worked or lives in the south. He went with the comfortable decision. Good for him.

Just give it up, it's over with, turn to someone in your family and gripe to them instead of making a new post every 30 seconds, LOL

Ohio State is his dream job, so I’ll go out on a limb on that one and say for sure, no.

LSU - the best university you don’t want to be a part of.

Should be our mantra

I'd bet he would take ND over Bama and Clemson but not Ohio State.

probably take ND over anyone other than tOSU.

he’s never left the midwest.
and ND’s d-coordinator just landed a HC job, so it definitely a stepping stone type gig.

Bama? Yes.
Clemson? Yes.
tOSU. No. It's in his backyard and closer than ND.

Well he played at OSU so he would probably pick them if offered

No. Out of those 3 and LSU, which head coaching future would be perceived the more unstable?
There's also probably a trust factor that was involved...
Our DC fired, their DC promoted to a HC.
Then the cherry on top, proximity.

Not gonna lie, I feel like we're gonna take a double L on this one and O will settle for somebody since there wasn't another top choice in mind.

Perhaps, he has six kids and has lived in Cincinnati for the past 4 years and Cincy is only 4 hours from South Bend, he may not want to uproot his family...

lsu is the best team ever says lsu fans

rest of the country don’t see it that way

take your googles you fricking clowns

we are not a current top tier team like osu, bama, clemson...lsu’s championship last year meant nothing in the grand scheme of things, not to recruits and not to the best position coaches/coordinators
