Airdyne/Air bike pricing and insight

I stumbled upon a used Schwinn AD Pro and was wondering what would be a good price.
I have been thinking of buying a Rogue Echo but if I can get a deal on this used AD Pro, it should be about the same. I have done research, and most seem to prefer the Echo due to stability and the price as a new unit vs the Schwinn.
Any insight on either bike from the board?

I prefer the Echo (that thing is a tank), but it's not like the airdyne is a bad piece of equipment. I would probably just go with the echo unless you are saving money with the AD.

I was going to offer 600. They wanted 800 but have dropped the price to 650.
But that's what I have heard about the Echo, seems very well built.

I don't have any experience with the AD Pro, but can confirm that the Echo is a solid piece of equipment. The Echo is the only belt drive I have used and it is way smoother than the chain drives I have tried in the past.

Check out Titan fitness. They are releasing an Echo clone this month that appears to be solidly over built. Their quality has improved enough I consider them a legit option.

echo is a better bike, I would buy a airdyne pro if in perfect shape for no more than 500 personally. Could get a better bike from getrxd for 600 brand new.

The titan looks like an assault bike clone
If they did an echo rogue would sue them again

I bought the echo bike during the beginning of COVID and highly recommend. The thing is a tank as mentioned earlier.
Workouts are brutal with them. A great tool.

Is there any advantage to an Airdyne/Assault bike and just buying a bicycle + one of those trainer stand things that lifts the back wheel off the ground?

I wouldn't call it an advantage. They are just different forms of equipment. The resistance forms and feels different, they provide upper body work, and can be used for a different purposes more effectively than a cycle and trainer. Rogue 50 cal challenge is a great example of this.
They aren't better, just different.
