6'6 guard from Lafayette. Averaged 17 ppg last year and was third team All MWC.
This year he hasn't been good in very limited play...but neither has the team.

Looks like he opted out due to COVID
I assume he's in portal otherwise LSU can't contact him
Now would be the time though to get enrolled at LSU
He might even be able to practice with team

17 points a game last year.
On 13 shots, 40% from floor, sub 30% from 3. Not trying to crap on things but it's a meh add on paper for now. He started off this season horribly then quit.

He's no Seneca Wallace.

By that logic the same thing happened to Shareiff O'Neil. You sad we picked him up?

Those shooting percentages...woof
Probably a roster filler signing but he’s got potential and players tend to develop under tPear.

Huh? O'Neal didn't quit, he has a foot injury.

I think we could have done better, this is maybe more exciting a pickup than Bryan Penn-Johnson was but I tend to not to love inefficient forwards, it's not really Wade's style.

Well Seneca Wallace wasn’t a stoic, was he?

sure he had a foot injury the year before but he came back to a new coach that gave him little PT and he quit a few games into the season.

There's no annual signing limit in basketball. We have a scholarship being unused. There is no risk. If he's no good, run him off.

Agree that he's more of a body than key player but his inefficiency seems because he could do too much on a bad team. 5.5 3s per game at 29% isn't happening on a team with any direction. SJSU last year was 16th in 3s attempted per game but 328th in percentage. If he's got any talent he can be molded better than whatever they're trying to do out there.
