Buddy killed a few this weekend and was trying to find a good place to get it processed to make sausage and ground meat ect. Any good recommendations?

I didn't know butcher block processed. What sort of drop off situation do they have?

How do you like Deer Depot? I have heard mixed reviews.
Last I talked to butcher block he wasn't taking deer until the 18th.

If you're willing to drive a little, Fortenberry in Picayune is great and super fast turn around time.

They're awesome and super fast. If you're doing 100% ground meat they usually have it ready same day. If doing some smoke sausage it usually takes around 2 days.

I’ll second fortenberrys for ground meat and sausage. Gwen in picayune for tamales. Bergerons in Covington or Mickey browns in Houma for burritos. Not saying other places are not good. Those are simply my go to places

I haven't had any issues yet nothing to complain about. I've had their ground meat, mild sausage, Italian sausage and tamales.
