You do. And stop pretending you’re too cool to grab some lunch there as though it’s something to be impressed with. Nobody is buying it, kid.

Just wear your damn mask and stop being an idiot. Seriously, how hard is it to show you care for someone other than yourself????

no i go out in my backyard which is the Gulf of Mexico and catch and eat my fish within a few hours of catching it.

Yes, I am way too good to eat Red Lobster.

Having said that, I can't knock the kiddos decision... the kiddo gets a pass on this

I will give you a recent example of why it is more complicated than “I saw John wearing a mask, how did he get Covid?”

Extended family member regularly wears a mask and has worked at his job the entire time. We are all humans and let down our guard from time to time and are social by nature. The risk goes up when you are out to eat and shooting the shite with co-workers, friends, etc. But it is damn hard to live and work in a complete bubble.

Long story short, he and his family have been very cautious but co worker got it then boom, now he has it. That doesn’t mean that his mask wearing hasn’t been helpful previously. It just means that this thing is a pain in the arse and that it is hard to “avoid” because we can all think back on times we have had meals with people and put our selves at risk etc.......mask wearers or not.

I spent the entire day in the B’ham area shopping with my family. We went to the following:

Hobby Lobby
Red Lobster
Home Depot
Books-A-Million
JC Penny
Target
Starbucks
Some Antiques Shop in Irondale
Bass Pro Shop
Freddy’s Steakburgers

Sounds like the worst nightmare I could ever imagine.

Gross.

The most maskless congregating I see on a daily basis are on the side of the roads north of Government Street, but we aren’t allowed to talk about that.

If anyone should have gotten it by now, it should be me. I did nothing to avoid it, and the only time I wear a mask, is when I'm forced to. Even then, I wear a stupid cloth one and usually have it below my nose. I've been around people who have had it (didn't know at the time) and I still didn;t get it. Very weird disease.

100% agree. I only wear N95 mask. This is where we are failing with the mask rules. Should be N95 or better. Then you might have something.

I will not and will never eat arse sir. There is a perfectly fine orifice mere inches away that shite doesn’t come out of. Urine yes, but not shite. That’s where I draw the line.
