Has anyone that can run a 4.4 40 ever been denied admission to a SEC school??

All this equity stuff being crammed down our throats today by ESPN coverage of these football games seems pretty hypocritical to me.
Does anyone think the same academic admission standards applies to the top athletes that applies to average high school graduate??
Do they read the ACT--wink, wink--to the average LSU applicant so they can get in?
When these announcers and advertisements talk about equality are they ready to have equality in admission standards??? (of course they would be for dumbing them down.)
I have about had my belly full of these privileged athletes lecturing us all on equality as if we are all racists.
What's next? Will TAF ask for contributions based on race?

Sure, if they're academics were not up to snuff!
Oh, who am I kidding, I can't even say that with a straight face.

The SEC school admitting them is separate from meeting basic NCAA requirements academically and going through the clearinghouse.
A lot of athletic kids didn’t go anywhere because they did frick-all in the classroom and couldn’t qualify. These are the kinds of kids being recruited to D-II schools which are basically Vo-Tecs with athletic programs.

Name one premier recruit--5 star--denied admissions to a SEC school because of academics.
It may be happening but I doubt it.

I can’t even run a mile in 15 minutes.

I’m spacing on the name but Southern Miss ended up with a 5* WR back around the Larry Fedora days in part because he was such an academic risk IIRC.
Not sure if he outright got rejected by Bama et all but a 5* at USM is extremely rare.

NCAA minimum requirements are a LOT lower than LSU's typical minimum requirement.
I suspect but do not know that LSU allows premier athletes in if they meet the NCAA requirements even though they do not meet typical LSU requirements.
Is there equality in that???

Yeah, but even at schools like Stanford and Harvard, they sharply lower the standards for athletes.

5 star athletes are probably given 5 star "help" in high school to make sure they have the necessary grades.
