Alvin Kamara did not practice today. He was waiting for confirmation on a COVID-19 test after having a positive test, according to a source.

Kamara headed to the Covid list now.

Luckily if Chicago wins then saints have a bye. If Chicago loses then saints most likely play the rams in the first round without Goff. Both scenarios you feel better about this situation. But what terrible timing.

Have to assume we play next week. Michael Thomas has to play, and he has to play well

Oh you don't say? I'm sure you think you are clever for pointing out something everybody knows. The saints will beat the panthers. It's practically all their backups playing. And the seahawks will beat the niners second string. These basic things are already assumed. But yeah you are very clever proving me wrong.

Yup. Idiotic to do a week before the playoffs. Kamara is one of my favorite Saints players but this was just stupid.

Adam Schefter
@AdamSchefter
Saints’ RB Alvin Kamara tested positive again and will be placed on Reserve/COVID, per source. He’s out Sunday and now the question will be whether he reruns for the first playoff game.

Glad this team could get creative in finding a way to blow it in the first round. Unreal.

You really think they will lose to the Rams without Goff? That is if they don't get the bye. All this does is ensure kamara will be healthy for the second week of the playoffs.

While this is still a dumb thing to do a week before playoffs, there’s no way he contracted it last night and already popped positive today. That’s not how any of this works.
