They should be running to court for an injunction. Unfortunately, all the Orleans Parish judges are bought and paid for by the same assholes who elected Latoya, so nothing will happen.

Once everyone gets it which has always been the case with a virus.

It's not going to end. The virus will continue mutating and we'll have to continue developing shots to combat it every year similar to the flu. I sincerely hope the current shot regimen will convey immunity but I don't see it happening. We'll learn to live with it and continue life as we've done for thousands of years.

Currently, all deaths in individuals with COVID positive lab results are being counted, this may include individuals with pre-existing conditions, individuals who have met the "end of isolation" criteria prior to death, or individuals ultimately determined to have another cause of death.

Health Secretary Courtney Philips defended the departments data analysis, saying it accounts for many issues raised by the report and excludes data that could skew things. According to the report out of 592 labs, half of them only reported positive test results. That could skew the states positivity rate higher, making an outbreak in an area appear more widespread than it actually is.

This Covid shite is nearly on par with the vote counting corruption.

Total cases by collection date on or after 12/16/2020 - 29,713, plus hospitalizations equals 31,430 The number I posted yesterday using the same methodology was 27,734. There are 4,673 more active cases today than yesterday, an increase of 17.47%. 6,498 of the 6,754 new cases are from test dates during this time.

Comparing today's active case count with the count from 12/24, there's an increase of 1,579 cases, an average of 263 per day. They say it's not from a backlog, but let's be honest. How many of Monday's test should have been done earlier. The 4 day weekend created a backlog.

How can we base restrictions on positivity rate when the denominator is lower than it should be. If I was a bar owner I would take things back to court and that would be the only evidence needed.

Bars are open in NOLA. Not at capacity, but my neighborhood bar is open and they do not have a food license.
