Looks like they were detained and released not arrested. So far there’s not much information except the daughter posted her video on TikTok and claims the stolen car reports were false.
The cops were actually looking for a Tesla that had been involved in a carjacking when they came across the Camaro.
If it was a mistaken identity and all a false report then I can see why the mom lost her shite. Kid is still a piece of shite for the way he responded.

Her son had guns drawn on him for no reason. I’d hope my mom would call them who they are. The car wasn’t even stolen, it was out for repo. That’s a tow truck job, not the cops. They went over board on a simple traffic stop.
He’s still a piece of shite for the way he acted, and the mom could have handled it different. I don’t know I never had to walk outside my nice neighbor hood and see guns pointed at my innocent child. I’m sure it’s an intense situation.

I'm not sure of anyone ever winning an argument with the police in situations like this. That wasn't the time to act like a dumbass.
