I sure hope that’s what it is and nothing more.

If it is truly family issue then I hope nothing but the best for the kid.
But those upset are the ones who had ridiculous expectations for the guy. He was a non-factor for two years at Washington. He wasn’t a good rebounder when he played. He wasn’t a scorer. Wade’s not one to sit impact players. So if he was great he wouldn’t have been buried on the bench. Just because you are 7 feet doesn’t mean you are a good basketball player.
He was a scramble flier backup plan once the Cisse recruitment fell through. They wanted to see if they could get something out of him. Two months in it is clear they don’t think they can.

Exactly amd thats why he is probably going back home.
Might be family stuff too but it makes the decision easier to leave when it's not working out.
Madking thinks he is the lsu basketball savior. At least bigby-williams balled out at Oregon before he came

Lol yea the usual from you, putting words in someone’s mouth then spewing nonsense.

Don’t you ever, ever ever, ever ever ever compare bpj to kbw again. Completely different players. Bigby Williams was way more athletic. Higher motor. More skilled. Simply just a better player. Penn Johnson has size but not much else. Slow and stationary. Could help in some aspects but no where near a KBW type player.

Guess who else didn’t get any playing time until the season was about to be lost and Wade had no choice? Kavell Bigby-Williams
The frick? KBW had to redshirt after transferring and then was a regular starter

How do you know if he lived up to his rating when you don’t play the kid?
Posted on 12/26/20 at 11:12 pm to king47
And you’d have never known how good KBW was unless Wade was practically forced to play him which was the point.

Nope, he wasn’t the starter until right before conference began vs St. Mary’s.

Why the hate with the down votes? I thought it was pretty funny. Tough crowd.

Lol I’m sorry I was referring to the comment you said good for him I thought you knew something I didn’t know on Johnson situation

At what point in a regular season that we lost 5 total games was the season “about lost”?

You basically compared his situation to bigby-Williams
Then you said the other team didn't get an offensive rebound while he was in, as if he is some sort of savior.
The guy just isn't that good
You don't think they see him in practice and see how slow he is
Wade took a chance to fill a hole and it didn't work out
Nothing like bigby-williams

I honestly don't know who that is. Is he a wide receiver, a baseball pitcher, a point guard, a forward in soccer ?

Wish the kid the best and hope things work out for him.
Not concerned about his absence.

Why not read the thread, then you should know who he is?
Posted on 12/29/20 at 6:28 pm to Jnola
Did he really leave team and quit to go home or did he have excused absence to return home? The reason I’m asking is I haven’t seen any news on him leaving and he is still showing on the roster.
