The problem is that the freaky teachers that looked like Ms. Lantz were non-existent when I was in High School. I know for one, if I was lucky enough to have experienced that at 16, I would have kept my mouth shout and let her do her thing with me

I think one strange thing is that the female teacher/male student stories are far more publicized, but you have to believe that male teacher/female student situations are happening far more often because older man/younger woman is more natural just in life itself.
So I'm wondering if its just that teenage girls can keep secrets far easier than teenage boys, so it goes unnoticed more?

I imagine social media is the reason most get caught. Women share WAY too much information including pictures because of their innate desire for validation.
Probably chicks who weren't popular in HS and are hung up on it.

It's technology in general. If you are a grown woman and send nude pictures to someone, there's probably an 85% chance they'll be shared unless it's to your husband. Sending those to a HS kid moves that to almost 100%.
Not to mention the texting trail, cell phone records etc.

Yep. The instant gratification of social media has destroyed many relationships. Put that in the hands of a teenager and you're doomed.

I think everyone is more conscientious of male teachers preying on females than the opposite and the teaching profession is dominated by women.
Society always attributes gentleness and benevolence naturally to women while always assuming men are predatorial perverted deviants. So no, I do not think male teacher-female student stories are getting swept under the rug.
Wasn't there a story about a coach banging a student posted here not too long ago?
