It does seem he get kids to stay in the program 4 to 5 years quite often. Just looked at thier depth chart, only 2 true softmores, everyone else older. It you look at our team last year ( best college football team of all time) it also had older players.

Change that to Saban is the greatest recruiter of all time and I agree. There are probably 20 or more coaches who would have won as many or more Championships as him, with his rosters over the years.

Bama is gonna bama. They’ve been doing this for 12 years. It won’t stop until Saban leaves. Our focus should be signing and developing our big men better to compete.

What kills me, how do they maintain less than 85? Sure they get rid of kids, but it seems they’re always taking in more than actually leave

They bend rules and find every loophole possible. They’ll take scholarship kids and greyshirt them for a year to make numbers work.
