My local Atwoods had some in stock at 28 cents/rd - 115g FMJ.

I've never heard of the brand, but it's American made. Gun counter guy said its the first shipment of ammo they've gotten in 3 weeks. Needless to say, the shelves didn't stay stocked long.

The shipment was so random. Lots of 9mm, then all obscure stuff like 10mm and 32 auto. I guess something is better than nothing.

I've never had issues with any Aguila ammo.

All the Aguila I have says Made in Mexico. Maybe the have multiple plants. Regardless, it shoots just as good as the typical white box Winchester range ammo.

The only Aguila I've shot was in 9mm and I was satisfied w/ it as range ammo. IIRC, it was more accurate than usual in my Kimber Micro 9.

It is as good as most bargain ammo and right now that might be all you can find. I've shot thousands of Aguila rounds with no issues.

Nothing wrong with it. I would say similar to Winchester white box stuff has been my experience.

.28 a round ? Jump on that. I've only had 1st hand experience with Aguila ammo in .22 caliber, but was very happy with it.

The last 9mm ammo I found was Blazer Brass FMJ for $24.95 for a box of 50, and was glad to get 3 boxes.

I'm in good shape with rifle and shotgun ammo, but lacking in the pistol ammo.

1. I don't think Aguila is made in the US. If it is, that's a pretty new development. Historically it's always been manufactured in Mexico.

2. To your question, Aguila is good ammo. Their .22 ammo (if you ever happen to run across some ) is very good stuff, and very accurate.

I’ve shot several bricks of Aguila .22, and it was good. Price is only a little more than Remington and such, but accuracy is considerably better. It does make a funny smell though.

Aguila is Mexican, but it's good. It used to be Remington at one time, I believe, going back to when Remington was a solid company (kinda the same concept as the Filipino 1911's being made on Remington equipment, or the Taurus 92 pistols being made on Beretta gear).

Last Aguila I got was 124 gr FMJ, with a crimped case. I have some left, shoots great.

I've shot their 7.62x51 with no problems. It's decent ammo for plinking.
