It is very enjoyable to watch a QB practice his art and practice it well. Watching Joe Burrow shred defenses in a calm methodical manner was something to see.

I'm thinking Max Johnson is headed for greatness just like Joe Burrow. I hope so.

Brennan: Good arm, accurate passer, did not make the greatest decisions this year, can't run for shite

Finley: big/tall body to see the entire field, CANNON (threw the ball too damn hard this year), turnover issues (should get fixed as he ages), can't speak for his running but he is 6'6"

Max: HUGE nuts, great mid field accuracy, EXTENDS BOTCHED PLAYS WITH HIS LEGS

If it were me, I'd start brennan again next year with our WR core, with Max #2, Finley #3 unless he matures and stops throwing 99mph fastballs on slants, starts to extend plays with his legs and learns to not turn the ball over

IMO, he was above 2018 burrow. He beat a better Florida team than Joe faced, in the Swamp.
He has to make a giant leap to match the Burrow of 2019.

Amazing how calm and confident Max is in the pocket.

He is not even close to Joe as of now...... Joe had that special gift of knowing when to escape and which way he wanted to go and then would still deliver that dagger pass that would demoralize opponents....

You face-planted on your early assessments of Burrow. Take a step back. Max is the real deal.

Max Johnson isn't only good, he's the next Joe Burrow by Locoguan0

Burrow doesn't have an elite arm either.

It seems as though you're predicting Max will at least be on par with 2019 Joe Burrow. Is that accurate?

Johnson will win the Heisman next year, narrowly beating out Brennan.

I just thought I'd throw that out there since everyone else is talking crazy stuff.

He has a lot of the same qualities as Joe especially his reading the defense.
I am just so grateful to be out of that QB hell we were in for so long...we have several solid to good options and that feels great for the future...nothing worse than be excited about your team but worried about the QB and knowing that is the most important piece
