I didn't get much detail other than to "stay tuned". There's a hint that DL coach Bill Johnson will be one and his replacement is already hired. Bo Davis, former Alabama DL coach.

Just what I heard from a very reliable source or sauce depending on how it actually turns out.

The Bo Davis thing has been confirmed by enough folks with credible history’s that’s I’m betting it’s a sure thing at this point.

Great DL Coach.

Edit: Saw this same rumor elsewhere now. Apparently everyone on defense was shite canned or retired except Corey Raymond.

It certainly make sense to hire a guy who got fired by Alabama and hit with a “show cause” penalty while LSU is in the middle of an NCAA investigation.

If only we had a coach on staff who recruits, plays no role in coordinating either side of the ball and could focus working with the DL. Oh well. We can all dream I suppose

That would be an excellent hire.

Coach E recruited his butt off. He has our QB position the best it has ever been.

I've also heard this as well. A ton of changes are coming. Its more than just Pelini,Linehan, and Ensminger.

We might be about to see what O is really made of in the sense of having to hire coordinators since he inherited what he had when he took over for Miles.

He has made 1 good “on the field” hire since being at LSU and that’s Brady. His shadow staff has been far better than his actual staff.
Canada fired after 1 year
Peleni should be fired after 1 year
Ensminger was nothing before Brady and had better success after learning from Brady. He still has no idea how to call a run game. Everything is up the middle. Zero imagination.
Lineham is awful
Cregg can’t recruit
Bush is nothing without Aranda
Faulk rotates his backs to much and won’t use the hot hand
Robinson was better at coaching than evaluating talent at RB

This may be make or break hiring season for O. His history of successful hires is mixed at best for his LSU tenure.

I'm cool with Bo Davis as DL coach. He's got the pedigree as a coach and recruiter.

You mean the same coach that had our 5th string freshman RB ready to go last game?

My only question is that if we are getting a new DC, wouldn't he want to choose his staff?
