I'm not guaranteed to ever get Covid and be exposed to potential long term risks. If I get the vaccine, I am guaranteed to be exposed to potential long term risks

It's amazing the work our Surgeon General Elect has done in the past few weeks.

for 2 reasons
1) government inefficiency and bloat
2) funding
it isn't because that is how long the process takes

Why are you laughing? Vaccine research is one of the most underfunded things in the medical community

what is the logical reason to not take the vaccine?
Mostly just because I like being a dick and not doing what authority tells me to do.

It happened under Trump but zero credit is being given to POTUS.

Finally an honest answer

One good thing about the Covid vaccine, is it really spotlights how much inefficiency we normally have. It's amazing how quickly you can get results when you cut a little red tape

I feel like this is the main reason for most here, so I appreciate the honesty
its some pseudo masculinity/freedom fighter thing

It's a Coronavirus, not something brand new that we don't know anything about. Stop lying and misleading. The vaccine, on the other hand, is definitely rushed and new.
I answered your question, now you answer my two..
Why do I have to take it if the survival rate is 98.98% for my age group and Coronavirus, in general, are not known to give the infected long term issues? And wouldn't it be smarter to not put a rushed, foreign substance into my body if it is not needed since millions will take the vaccine which will lead to herd immunity? My body, my choice right?

It's really not a masculinity thing as much as it is I believe I'm smarter than most people I interact with so I don't need them telling me what to do. My brother shares similar tendencies, it kind of runs in the blood.

Maybe, maybe not... I get the flu shot every year because it's been around for decades but I certainly wouldn't have been in the initial group, or first year.

Why do you care so much? I can't tell if you are a medical professional or a stay-at-home Karen who copies and pastes to Facebook.
I'll take the low-risk of severe complications or death from the virus itself instead of willingly taking a vaccine that doesn't have data on long-term effects.
Bottom Line: Mind your damn business. We'll each do what the hell we wanna do. Go take your vaccine so you'll be safe from us who choose to sit it out.
