Good for him. I know first hand that a covid outbreak shuts a production down. People not taking the proper precautions are not only putting everyone else’s lives in danger, but livelihoods as well.

The OT has a weird obsession with liking Tom Cruise. I don't care how cool he is on set, the dude is one of the leaders of a terrible cult.

Its really divided me. I make no delusions that he's a nice guy to his underlings in Scientology and is probably responsible for quite a bit of evil. He's supposed to be just awesome working with on the set. The stunt guys fricking love him and he has one hell of a memory as well. PAs piss their pants if they know Tom Cruise is going to be on the set since he's one of the few that treat them like gold. But again, I know he gets his rocks off by abusing people in his cult. He makes great movies, is nice as all hell, and probably a monster inside his cult.

Goddamn, you have no idea how much I'd pay to hear that continue, but with someone saying 'We're being lectured on logic and reason by a fricking Scientologist?!' way out loud right at the end.

I want to believe Cruise is as nice as they say in Hollywood, but I know deep down he isn't. It's a front, he uses it as recruiting to Scientology, and he gets his rocks off once he gets them in the cult. He's by all accounts a professional on the set and I do appreciate that he goes out of his way for PAs. That's almost unheard of in the industry where you're told not to speak or look at the star unless directly spoken to.

Well shite, while I knew it was kind of bullshite with the Scientology thing, he's supposed to be one of the best guys to work with in Hollywood, even going out of his way to know all the PAs names.
