GEISMAR, La. (WAFB) - Ascension Parish sheriff’s deputies say they are investigating a shooting at Harvest Grocery in Geismar Tuesday evening.
A witness says he was checking out at a register when he heard two pops in the parking lot.
He said a woman then ran into the store from the parking lot, with a bloody arm saying she had been shot.
“The blood was gushing out of her arm,” the unnamed witness said.
Other customers assisted the woman in stopping the bleeding until paramedics arrived.
The shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, deputies say.

Yes, last week a house across the street had 20 plus shots fired at.

It was a drive by shooting a week or so ago. That has been nothing but ghetto right there ever since I can remember and I’m 51.

Friend of ours is in the store. She said some crazy lady tried to keep her ex-bf from killing her brother. He shot her instead.

Goodness gracious. Idiots people in this world. Dad was saying something earlier about hearing about a shooting situation or something in Nola by the Medical Center (could have been a thread I didn't see), but crime is just going bonkers right now.
