Upvote for taking the time to own it and put a good response forward.

Next time, id encourage you to reply to the post...reading two very well thought out responses like yalls helps to educate us dumbasses who are too busy getting scammed on GFM or lost in redheads and cleavage.

Kudos to you both.

Everyone thinks that legalized weed will bring some huge windfall of money. They forget that the state will get their hands on it first and frick NOLA put of their share in order to pay consultants and river boat pilots

Weed should be legalized for freedom purposes but not to provide more money to the government. We already give them too much of our money.

Not only that - but some of the guys I know would NOT go legit if they had to give a cut to the state - why should they?

Because they'd be making more money than what they currently are, substantially more if they could wrap their brains around actually running a business.

Yeah there's no proof that it's happened already with other states

And schools and roads and a lot of other industries that need the revenue generated by the state will get it. Jesus you are clueless.

We are a middle of the road taxed state that's ranked 49th or 50th in most objective rankings and you want to give these cock suckers more of our money?

Weed should be legalized because it's wrong to lock people up over possessing a plant. Nothing more, nothing less. I should be able to grow a garden in my backyard and sell it in front of my house like a lemonade stand.

I think you're missing the point of how this all works

Legalize Marijuana will:

Create thousands of jobs
Less crime due to legalization
More revenue for the state
More money for education

Less dumbasses that post on TD that think legalization will only help politicians and not the people.

I don't know why you think this will improve anything. We spend like 28th per pupil on education and have 49th ranked schools. Our overall tax rates are like 26th. What are we getting for this? Why do you want to give them more money?

Eta - not trying to be a dick to you personally but I hate the tax and spend argument

Are you old enough to remember when we legalized the lottery?

How about legalized riverboat casinos? Then the landbased casino? Then whenever video gaming?

Ain't shite changed.

Lol thx

I am no means for Destroya - she’s putting more nails in the coffin for NOLA than any other mayor has ever - she’s ruined a lot of lives for many people I truly adore - she’s actually part of the reason I have not moved back

The big problem with NOLA can’t be said here, and how can it really be taken care of?

Yeah the GFM debacle was crazy - as for the cleavage - those girls were cute but I have my own to look at

The cocktail was invented by black folks? Fried oysters and softshell crabs? Poboys? Inshore fishing? The French Quarter?

The quarter is scarier than ever during covid.

News flash there was a guy who rang off several shots on bourbon Saturday night that the media never found out about
