LSU should look into bringing in Hue Jackson

As either some type of offensive assistant (QB coach/OC/PGC) or program liaison to help mend these tensions in the building right now.
He is the definition of culture guy, can mentor coach O, and is an ultimate relationship builder. Despite his record as a HC, he is a well respected offensive coach. He’d be cock diesel on the recruiting trail. Players absolutely love him,
I listened to a podcast this week, he is open to taking a Herd Edwards route through college to get back into coaching.
Coach Orgeron & Hue coached together at USC.

I see he served as Special Assistant to The Head Coach for the bengals in 2018. Maybe he can take Ree’s job

Ryan Clark would love if he was hired. Being black and all.

as an OC he's not terrible so he can actually coach on top of what you said. i don't think this is a bad idea at all
i imagine if he's given up on the NFL, he would be a DEVESTATING recruiter

He is a good offensive coach and is a personable guy. But he’s got a lot of stank on him, his Browns tenure was real bad. That’s likely as much Browns as it is Jackson to be fair.
It would be an incredibly difficult hire to sell. Replacing Linehan with someone who is pretty damn similar on paper would be hard.

55 years old
Coached with O at USC
Hasn't coached in college for 20 years
He does fit the profile.

I actually think this is a good idea. My boy Jacoby Ford played for Hue and loves him to this day.

I actually agree with Lester Earl here. But I also agree that Orgeron might feel too threatened with Hue Jackson around.
